In Response to the COVID-19
Update 3/22/20
Landscaping Services
Based on guidance from the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association, who has been in communication with the Governor’s Office, our landscape services crews can still operate. We have received many requests for services this season and will be in touch. Please use the form here to request our services. As always, it is usually not necessary for you to be present when our crews visit. Your communication with Sue and Liz can continue via email, text, or phone. We are taking precautions internally to keep our services crew safe and healthy as they perform their work for you. We will use best practices for our crew and maintain distance of 6′ from anyone in our interactions.
Nursery
We are also advised we can continue to operate, as an essential service in the agriculture sector: nursery and greenhouse production. We know many of you are home and seeking some therapeutic time in your landscapes. We want to help you do that, while keeping our staff and customers healthy.
Please submit your plant requests using this form and we will be in touch on how to pay remotely and pick up your order. We will not be handling cash, checks, or credit cards in person. There will be no face-to-face contact. The nursery IS NOT OPEN for browsing or shopping. Plant pick-ups are by appointment only.
We have posted our availability on line. It is an excel form. You can download it and submit an order to us. We will confirm the order, ask for payment via paypal, and then assemble your order for you. (You do not need a paypal account.) The health of our employees will always come first.
No employee will be required to work if sick, caring for a family member, or choosing to self-isolate. Our goal is to keep our EOTW family healthy and safely employed as long as possible.
Edge of the Woods will be complying with all regulations and guidance issued by authorities.
We hope that our continued operation will help you to safely enjoy the outdoors, providing relief from any social isolation or quarantine. Above all, please stay safe.
If you have any questions on our interpretation of the Governors directives, please visit PLNA.COM where they explain how the rulings apply to our business. Please know we are going above and beyond to keep our employees healthy, safe, and employed.
