We will charge sales tax on all sales unless:
- The purchaser is a public school or charter school, and you have the tax-exempt form with you.
- The purchaser is an instrumentality of, or a political subdivision of, the commonwealth of PA such as a township, city, borough and you have a tax-exempt form with you
- Your tax exempt number starts with the digits “75”, the plants are being planted in an existing bed, you have your tax exempt form with you and PA Form Rev-1715 attesting that the plants will be used in a tax exempt manner.
- You will be re-selling the plants and charging sales tax to your customers, and you have your tax exempt form with you
The form of payment (ie charge card or check) MUST be from the organization with the tax exemption number.
